Journey the Breath

Become a Confident, Trauma‑Informed Breathwork Facilitator (1:1 + Groups)

Journey the Breath is a 6‑month training starting June 14, 2026, limited to 40 students, designed to help you facilitate with clarity, care, and confidence.

  • Learn a clear, repeatable framework to facilitate safe, grounded sessions for both 1:1 and groups

  • Build trauma‑informed skills: consent, pacing, nervous‑system awareness, and integration practices

  • Leave with practical facilitation experience and the confidence to lead real sessions responsibly

At a glance

  • Training length: 6 months (June to November 2026)

  • Start date: June 14, 2026

  • Format: Online training + in-person graduation intensive

  • Time commitment: 5 to 6 hours per week

Journey the Breath is for people who feel genuinely called to breathwork facilitation and want to step into it properly.

This is a structured training over six months, with theory, supervised practice, and feedback.

You’ll learn the method, practise it in real sessions, and get coached so you’re not guessing.

It’s a grounded, embodied training that asks you to:

  • Do your own inner work alongside learning facilitation

  • Develop real nervous-system capacity

  • Learn through supervised practice, not theory alone

  • Grow into facilitation gradually, with integrity

  • Learn to hold relational, trauma-informed space with clarity and boundaries

By the end of this journey, you won’t just know breathwork.

You’ll be someone others naturally feel safe with, steady, present, and grounded, with the skills and lived experience to facilitate both 1:1 and group sessions, professionally and ethically.

Who This Training Is For

This is for you if:

  • Want a trauma-informed foundation, not a “break people open” approach

  • Care about ethics, consent, and staying within scope

  • Are willing to be supervised and coached

  • Want to build confidence through repetition, not pep talks

  • Can commit to a steady 6-month rhythm, plus the in-person intensive

This is NOT for you if:

  • Want a quick certificate with minimal practice

  • Want a high-intensity, performance-based style of facilitation

  • Aren’t willing to receive feedback or be supervised

  • Can’t commit to the weekly rhythm and the required case studies

  • Want breathwork training as a substitute for personal therapy or mental health care

  • Are currently in acute crisis or need a higher level of clinical support than a training environment can provide

Real student stories

How the Training Works

This training is built around learning, practice, and supervision, so you’re not just collecting information, you’re building capacity.

Here’s the flow:

1) Learn the foundations (training).
You’ll learn the Level 1 session structure, screening basics, scope, pacing, and what to do with common responses in the room.

2) Practice with structure (reps).
You’ll run practice sessions using the same repeatable framework so you get competent through repetition, not improvisation.

3) Get supervised feedback (integration + standards).
You’ll be observed and guided so you know what’s working, what’s risky, and what to tighten.

4) Complete requirements (certification-ready).
If you want certification, you’ll follow the requirements listed below. If you need more time, you’ll get clarity on what’s missing.

"Pat and the incredible community provided me with a safe supportive space to explore deeper parts of myself and helped me to deepen my mind and body connection.

Being surrounded by others on a similar journey of self awareness and healing creates an invaluable sense of belonging and mutual growth. this training has been incredibly rewarding and empowering.

It has strengthened both my skills and confidence as a facilitator. Pat brings such a profound wisdom, compassion and presence to every interaction. Combined with his grounded humble approach, it has shown me what it truly means to hold space for others. The most rewarding self development course I have ever done."

- Kate Canham

"It’s difficult to put into words just how profoundly this course has influenced my personal growth.

For most of my adult life, I lived in my mind, constantly

questioning every decision, worrying about what others thought and thought of me, striving to overachieve, and people-pleasing at the expense of my own needs.

Now, as the course comes to an end, I find myself in a completely different space. My mind is more peaceful than it has ever been, and for the first time, I genuinely like and love myself. I feel worthy of love and connection, something I struggled to believe in the past. This experience has taught me how to embrace self-compassion and live in the present, freeing me from the constant worry and pressure to perform."

- Keith Bradley

STILL NOT SURE?

Frequently Asked Questions

I’m not sure I’m “ready” to hold space for others.

Will this still work for me?

Yes. This training is the bridge between where you are and where you want to be.

You’ll build your confidence through embodied practice, mentorship, and real facilitation reps - all in a safe, supportive environment.

What if I don’t want to become a full-time facilitator?

That’s completely fine. Many students join to deepen their own healing, add breathwork to an existing skillset, or simply follow a soul call.

Whether you want to lead retreats or just show up more present in your life - this training meets you where you are.

How much time do I need to commit weekly?

About 5-6 hours per week.

The content is pre-recorded and flexible, and live calls are recorded if you can’t attend in real time.

You’ll never fall behind.

What makes this different from other breathwork certifications?

Most training teaches you techniques.

Journey the Breath trains your nervous system, your presence, and your ability to guide from embodiment - not performance.

Plus, you’ll get hands-on experience, real feedback, and a proven method to follow.

What happens after the 200HR certification?

You’ll be certified and ready to confidently guide 1:1 and group breathwork sessions right away. And your journey doesn’t have to stop there - you’ll continue to receive six months of post-certification support, including mentorship and community connection.

Still Have Questions?

Student wins (big and small)

It has shifted my perspective and outlook on life and gave me a new sense of direction and vision. It encouraged me to

connect more deeply to my true self and to follow my heart. DO IT!

Sign up- it has been the best decision I made this year. You will reap the rewards- connection, community, friendships, knowledge, skills and an opportunity to meet yourself in new and meaningful ways”

- Carol Devine

"It was one of the first group settings where I felt safe and accepted. I would also see it in other people showing up or saying similar. I was hoping to find some honest and profound connections in Ireland, and I was surprised how deep people would connect.

My main “circle” in Ireland before was around the horse rescue, where we mostly deal with “the dark side” or lack. This course changed my whole feeling about the country and how open people are towards honest, deep and real connections."

- Manuela Gehrig

"The training has given me the theory, the practical knowledge, the community, the support and the confidence to hold space as a breathwork facilitator. It has helped me develop a daily practice and a range of tools that I can use to cope with overwhelm, stress and difficulty. My sense of purpose and self esteem have grown through being of service to others.I have found inspiration, loving kindness and great fun and laughter from my new friends on the course. I am sure some connections will last long beyond the graduation."
